The UK's Department for Science, Innovation & Technology (DSIT) is conducting a survey 'to understand the UK's artificial intelligence sector, and how it is growing.'

The survey is available here and open until the end of March 2025. Questions cover the size of the organisation (turnover, number of employees), turnover from exports, levels of investment, and R&D spend.

This is part of DSIT's annual survey into the UK's AI sector. Results from the last survey were published in October 2024 - see our summary here: What does the AI Sector in the UK look like? DSIT's study published.

If you would like to discuss how current or future regulations impact what you do with AI, please contact Tom WhittakerBrian WongLucy PeglerMartin CookLiz Smith or any other member in our Technology team.
