B-Innovative Week 2025 takes-off! Burges Salmon embarks on its annual innovation week

Independent UK law firm Burges Salmon is embarking on a journey of discovery with the return of its annual innovation and technology week. Taking place this week, B-Innovative aims to share ways in which Burges Salmon continues to innovate, provide upskilling opportunities, and equip our people with knowledge to help navigate the evolving technological landscape.

In light of rapid developments in AI, and with a focus on collaboration and connecting our people with internal teams dedicated to elevating the client experience, the week features a raft of exciting sessions under the theme “embark” including:
Throughout the week, the firm will also spotlight the progress made since the launch of its multidimensional Digital Enablement Programme. At its core, the Programme brings together and leverages AI, data, processes and technology, together with internal expertise, to enhance the firm’s client service delivery. Updates on the next phases of our firmwide Copilot for 365 roll-out will be shared, bringing to life aspects of the firm’s unique, human-centred approach which was highlighted last November at the Microsoft Ignite Conference hosted in Chicago, you can watch the recording here.
Our annual B-Innovative Week is just one way in which the firm demonstrates its continued commitment to innovation. Burges Salmon was recognised as one of Europe’s most innovative law firms by the Financial Times, with the firm scoring highly across the innovation, people and social responsibility leaderboards. The FT Innovative Lawyers report recognises the best innovative legal work across Europe and highlights the firms and lawyers who are driving change in the sector. In 2024, around 620 submissions from 229 law firms and in-house legal teams were researched and benchmarked, with Burges Salmon breaking into the Top 50 law firm index in 45th position.
