Directions
Please be advised that there are several construction projects taking place in the area around our Bristol Head Office. These projects have resulted in ongoing disruption to traffic flow, and there will be:
- Intermittent road closures on Avon Street at the junction of Avon Street and Oxford Street
- Temporary closure of Gas Lane
- Temporary road closure on Anvil Street
- Temporary road closure on Silverthorne lane
Car park access is available, but street works are taking place outside our office on Avon Street and a single lane traffic system is in effect.
We recommend allowing extra travel time when visiting our office and we apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
For reference, the current road closures in place are:
- Wales & West – Road Closure in force on Avon Street for gas utilities works between 31 July 2023 – 28 March 2025
- Bristol City Council have a closure in force on Gas Lane for roadworks between 18 July – 17 January 2025
- Thermamech Ltd have a Closure in force on Silverthorne Lane for streetworks between 15 July – 25 March 2025
- John Lysaght Properties Limited have a diversion in place for Silverthorne Lane Passage (for foot traffic) between 15 August 2024 – 15 August 2025
- Bristol City Council have traffic control (multi-way signals) in place on the junction of Silverthorne Lane, Gas Lane and Kingsland Road
- Wiring Group have a street closure in force on New Thomas Street and Russ Street for streetworks between 06 November – 30 March 2025
- Core highways – Closure in force on Avon Street (railway tunnel at Oxford Street Junction – 04 October 2024 – 25 March 2026
On arrival
The main entrance to our office is located on the water side. The building has full disabled access.

By train
Our office is located within walking distance of Bristol Temple Meads station.
By bike
We have allocated cycle racks at the office. Please speak to the Reception team to arrange access for your planned visit.
By bus
Take a bus to Temple Meads, which is less than 5 minutes’ walk from our office.
By car
Exit the M4 at Junction 19 and take the M32 towards Bristol city centre. At the end of the motorway, move into left hand lane and bear left at the House of Fraser building, following signs for Temple Meads Station. Continue through the underpass and immediately after it enter a left exit lane, to turn left at the traffic lights into Avon Street (in front of the NatWest building).
Please note that due to limited spaces, we do not offer car parking for our seminars or events. The nearest 24 hour pay and display car park is just off Avon Street, on the corner of New Kingsley Road and Old Bread Street, a couple of minutes' walk from our office.
