Overview

Every business will need employment law advice at one time or another. Our Employment Helpline service offers immediate access to support and advice on day-to-day employment law issues. Our experience in delivering helpline advice for a wide range of clients means we are likely to have seen your issue (or something similar) before. This means issues can be resolved quickly, easily and cost-effectively.

If you use our Helpline service, you will be able to call on an assigned team of qualified lawyers who know you and your business.  You can rely on this team to provide concise, jargon-free employment law advice which is tailored to your organisation’s values and appetite for risk.

We also provide Helpline reports which summarise usage and help identify recurring themes or issues which we can then work with you to address.

Areas of focus

Our Employment Helpline includes advice on all day-to-day employment issues including:

  • Disciplinary issues and grievances
  • Maternity, family and flexible working queries
  • Performance and absence management
  • Pay and benefits
  • Working time queries
  • Redundancy queries
  • International assignment and business immigration issues
  • Contractual issues (including executive appointments and exits)
  • Restrictive covenants
  • Workplace conflict resolution and mediation

Pricing for our Helpline is very flexible – generally our helplines operate on a fixed monthly fee and you choose the extent of the coverage required – from bounce-off to a full service including document reviews and drafting. We will discuss your requirements with you to identify the service which offers best value.

Employment Helpline Service

The team really take time to understand the issues, the organisation, business risk appetite and preferred approach. They work with that information to provide appropriate advice and recommendations, challenging thinking, and identifying risks and potential solutions. There is always good cover for holidays, with interim support having a good handover and excellent knowledge of the case for continuity.
