Experience

Advising a landowner in relation to a £120 million industrial development adjacent to the M5 motorway, comprising up to 1,500,000 sq ft of industrial, warehousing, distribution and employment space.

Advising Waterstones in relation to real estate matters for the "Waterstones Hub", their national distribution centre in Burton on Trent.

Acting for the asset owner of a 600 acre warehousing and distribution park, in a high-value dispute over the compatibility of competing land uses on a former industrial site.

Acting for the Falcon Property Trust on all asset management matters for the UK portfolio of 36 industrial estates, as well as the sale of the portfolio to Legal and General for over £100 million.

Advising a multinational transport and logistics operator in relation to the development and lease of a major new freight forwarding facility near Heathrow Airport.

Advising John Lewis and Waitrose on national and international warehousing and distribution requirements.

Advising a private developer on all aspects of a 43 acre industrial warehousing development near a major motorway, comprising over 600,000 sq ft of floor space.

Acting for M&S on the M&S Energy Society, a community energy scheme designed to generate renewable electricity from solar panels installed on M&S stores across the UK.

Acting for The Crown Estate in relation to the disposal of three industrial estates for £32 million and the disposal of a Honda storage depot for £31 million.

Acting for Coutts & Co in relation to the refinancing of a number of industrial estates held by a British Virgin Islands (BVI) company.

Advising a major American investment fund on the sale of Pencoed Industrial Park.

Advising a global supply chain and logistics operator on a number of projects including the supply of warehousing and distribution services to a wide range of companies, including Whitbread, M&S and Habitat.

Acting for St. Modwen in connection with its Access 18 scheme: a 212 acre brown field site with potential for a total of c.2.95 million square feet of warehouse / logistics and production accommodation.

Acting on some of the most high-profile and difficult contaminated land and industrial site remediation projects, providing effective risk solutions and facilitating the redevelop of the land for future industrial and logistics use.

Advising a contractor on the construction of a £4.2 billion tunnel project.
