We are excited to once again be heading to the International Bar Association (IBA) Annual Conference, this year hosted in the vibrant Mexico City (15 – 20 September). With more than 5,000 legal professionals attending and over 200+ working sessions, it is one of the most prestigious events in the international diary. At the Conference
Our team will be actively involved throughout the conference, including speaking engagements, session participation, committee retreats, and meeting with our international friends.
Richard Spink will be co-chairing the following panel session:
“Getting Sellers Ready: Strategies for Closely Held Companies” on Tuesday 17 September at 14:30 CST at the Centro Citibanamex. Richard’s session covers the following:
- Assessing the value of closely held businesses;
- identifying and addressing operational, governance and regulatory issues;
- finding the most appropriate deal structure;
- the role of technology in preparing for a sale;
- transitioning ownership and leadership;
- getting prepared for buyer scrutiny; and
- anticipating post-sale integration issues.
