International overview

We have considerable experience in the Asia Pacific region, which includes work for both private and corporate clients who are based in the region investing in the UK and for clients seeking to do business there. We have lawyers fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese and other Asia Pacific dialects. This allows us to speak with our clients in their native language, unlocking language barriers.

Investing into the UK

With our partner-led and relationship-based service, we are able to provide specialist legal advice to international clients on UK inward investment opportunities at affordable prices.

Our experience of working over many years with clients based in Asia Pacific enables us to understand how Asia Pacific based clients and investors operate. Working with our clients, we have guided them through making first-time and repeat investments into the UK.

Our focus on UK inward investment is aligned with our key sectors - real estate, infrastructure, and energy and private wealth.

Providing legal services across the Asia Pacific region

For our clients looking to invest in the Asia Pacific region, we have well established relationships with market leading independent law firms in all the major Asia Pacific jurisdictions. Working with those firms, we offer an integrated legal service of the highest quality across the region.

Our lawyers make regular trips to the region – meeting our clients, attending international conferences relating to our key sectors of real estate, infrastructure, and energy and private wealth and visiting the independent law firms that we partner with.

The deal is also one of the first direct investments by an Asian developer in London’s property market. This was a UK and Asia matter.
