The Burges Salmon Tenant Advisory Team has advised luxury beauty product brand Beauty Pie on its acquisition of new HQ office space at Colegrave House, London. Beauty Pie, the first luxury beauty buyers’ club, has taken its new office space, by way of an underlease from Gamesys Group.
The team supported Beauty Pie in both the real estate and construction aspects of its move to the fifth floor of Colegrave House, 70 Berners Street. Beauty Pie has undertaken fit-out works to the space, which was supported by construction law specialists in the Tenant Advisory Team including the negotiation of the building contract and warranties with the contractor.
Built in 1927, Colegrave House on Berners Street, between the junctions of Eastcastle Street and Oxford Street was the former headquarters of the Arcadia Group before being acquired in 2021 by online gaming group Gamesys.
The Burges Salmon team advising on the deal was led by Real Estate partner Richard Clark. Senior associate Alexia Aradipiotis and senior apprenticeship solicitor Charlie Morgan, all from the firm’s Real Estate team and senior associate Christian Mulvihill from the firm’s Construction team also supported.
Richard Clark comments: “We are delighted to have supported Beauty Pie in its acquisition of this office space in the heart of central London as it continues rapidly to grow its business and its membership. This new HQ will undoubtedly assist in attracting the very best people to its talented and ambitious workforce. The transaction was a great illustration of how our highly regarded Tenant Advisory Team can really deliver added value.”
