The Corporate and M&A team from Burges Salmon has advised specialist manufacturer of optical components and systems, Gooch & Housego PLC (“G&H”), on its acquisition of, precision optics supplier, Phoenix Optical.
Phoenix Optical supplies polished, coated and assembled precision optics to customers around the world and has one of the largest diamond turning facilities in Europe. The acquisition provides G&H with the exciting opportunity to expand and accelerate its reach in the UK and European Aerospace & Defence markets.
Burges Salmon’s team was led by partner AJ Venter and supported by associates Dan Wood and Isabel Rawlings and trainee solicitor Hannah Bellingall from the firm’s Corporate and M&A team.
