Burges Salmon has advised HSBC on an £5 million credit facility, which has seen Inspiration Healthcare plc, a global provider of medical technology for critical care, operating theatre and home healthcare applications, acquire S.L.E. Limited – a specialist provider of neonatal ventilation products.
This acquisition is a significant step in Inspiration Healthcare’s ambition to reach £100 million revenue through organic growth and acquisitions, and the aim to become a global leader in neonatal intensive care equipment.
The deal doubles its number of staff, increases revenue to £34 million, enables the company to take on additional manufacturing capability and increases its global distribution network to cover the Middle East and Asia/Pacific.
The Burges Salmon team that advised HSBC was led by partner Rachael Ruane and solicitor Ranvir Singh from the firm’s Banking team.
Rachael says: “We are pleased to have once again worked with the team at HSBC to help with the completion of another successful financing transaction in such a critically important sector.”
