Burges Salmon’s Banking and Finance team has acted for Santander UK plc on a term and revolving credit facility for Whyte Bikes Limited to provide investment support alongside Cairngorm Capital Partners LLP.
Founded in 1999, Whyte Bikes has become an established and much-loved brand in the mountain bike market with its innovative engineering. It is targeting significant growth potential in the UK and internationally and its range has expanded into award-winning road bikes as well as commuter hybrids. The working capital funding is set to support the business with its ambitions to enhance its offering, extend its product range and expand into new markets and territories.
The Burges Salmon team was led by partner Rachael Ruane with support from senior associate Chris Roberts. Rachael says: “We’re pleased to have worked with Santander UK to offer a financing solution alongside Cairngorm Capital to support Whyte Bikes’ continued growth.”
