Burges Salmon has advised the shareholders of London recruiter Cornwallis Elt on the sale of the company to global talent solutions specialist, the Morson Group.
Cornwallis Elt is a market leading recruitment business operating within the financial services, digital and media, professional services and legal sectors. The firm matches its clients with high calibre technologists, digital, transformation and change management experts.
Ranked as the 3rd largest engineering recruitment company in the world, the deal will further strengthen the Morson Group’s position as one of the largest and most influential talent solutions specialists.
Forming part of the Morson Group provides Conrwallis Elt with the opportunity to fuel future growth and to provide exciting new opportunities for their people.
The multi-disciplinary Burges Salmon team advising on the deal was led by Corporate Finance Director Tim Roberts with support from Bethan Penrhyn-Jones, Elena Kaltsas and Elena Visser from the firm’s Corporate team, Pip Galland and Ellen Goodland from the Employment team, and Ian Carnochan and Roslyn Jackson from the Corporate Tax team.
