Burges Salmon has been awarded a position on the national framework for the provision of Legal Services Y21012, for Kent County Council via KCS Procurement Services, part of the Commercial Services Group.
This four year tenure, running until July 2026, continues the firm’s historic success on being appointed to public sector panels. The tender process involved a significant team comprising lawyers and business services individuals from across the firm and was led by Richard Adams, a partner in the firm’s Construction and Engineering team.
The Supply of Legal Services Framework Agreement covers the provision and ability to provide a full range of Legal Services.
KCS Procurement Services is a trading function of the Commercial Services Group, one of the largest trading organisations of its kind in Europe with a turnover in excess of £600 million. The new Legal Services framework is available to a range of publicly funded organisations across the UK, including local government, education establishments, the care sector and emergency services.
Richard Adams comments: “We are delighted that the firm has been appointed to the newly-established Legal Services Framework for KCS Procurement Services, which is a division of our existing client Kent County Council. This excellent win, which sees the firm appointed as part of a four-year contract, will provide multiple teams in the firm with the opportunity to deliver advice and expertise across a variety of legal specialisms.”
