Burges Salmon has been named as a finalist across eight categories in the 2020 edition of The School Leavers Awards, recognising the firm’s commitment to developing and nurturing talent in both its legal and business professional teams.
The awards celebrate the best employers and training providers for school and college leavers on apprenticeship programmes. The winners are based on surveys taken by the apprentices themselves through which they rate experiences across a range of aspects including salary, company culture and work-life balance.
The firm has been shortlisted in the following categories:
- Best for Career Progression
- Best for Level of Responsibility
- Best Company Culture
- Top Employers for School Leavers
- Best Advanced Apprenticeship
- Best Degree Apprenticeship
- Top Employer - Small School Leaver Intake
- Top Employer – Law
Anna Dixon, resourcing business partner at Burges Salmon, says: “Our apprenticeship programmes are increasingly popular and it’s fantastic to see their success recognised at The School Leavers Awards 2020. We’re delighted that the firm has been named as a finalist across as many as eight categories, which bears witness to our efforts to recruit, retain and motivate the highest calibre of people across the business.”
The School Leavers Awards will be celebrated with a ceremony set to take place in September at Grosvenor House, London.
