Aimed at senior managers of visitor attractions and tourism, attractions and heritage professionals, VAC is the leading event for all types of visitor attractions in the UK. It is run by the industry, for the industry and is firmly established as the key place to meet and network with contemporaries and to participate in an innovative and stimulating programme.
The event this year is taking place at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre in London on Thursday 9 October and the programme comprises a range of fascinating speakers including Wayne Hemingway, MBE; Matthew Tanner, Chairman, Association of Independent Museums and CEO, SS Great Britain; Nick Way, Director-General, Historic Houses Association; Martha Lytton-Cobbold, Owner and CEO, Knebworth; and Lord Lee of Trafford, Chairman of the All-Party Group on Tourism, UK Parliament.
The VAC Legal Briefing that Burges Salmon is sponsoring opens the day’s programme and will comprise presentations from the head of the firm’s Hotels, Leisure and Tourism sector group, Rick Read, head of the firm’s Employment group Chris Seaton and head of the firm’s Commercial team Helen Scott-Lawler.
Rick Read commented: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to sponsor the Legal Briefing at this year’s VAC, which is undoubtedly the UK's foremost event for visitor attractions. We have a wide range of clients in the leisure sector and are looking forward to seeing those, and many other contacts, at the event on 9 October in London.”
