The festival will develop scalable and long-term solutions to support local government to create housing, places and communities. Innovative housing exhibits and projects will be showcased on sites across the city.
For its launch, an exhibition will be held from 19 October to 4 November in Bristol’s Waterfront Square, featuring full size concept houses and scale models. Burges Salmon is a launch partner and has provided pro bono legal services for the launch.
Colin Ligman, head of the firm’s real estate department, comments: "At Burges Salmon we are committed to being a responsible business that makes a real and positive difference to our clients, our people and the communities in which we live and work. As such, we are delighted to support the Bristol Housing Festival by providing the organisers with pro bono legal advice.
"The Bristol Housing Festival objectives chime with our work with clients who invest in, fund and develop housing led projects, and our desire to support the wider commercial and public sector objectives of generating further important investment in UK housing infrastructure."
