Abbie has a broad range of experience across multiple sectors advising on commercial contracts, technology, data protection, cyber security, intellectual property and outsourcing.

• Advising clients in various sectors, including financial services, retail and hospitality, technology, healthcare, transport and energy.
• Advising on complex and critical technology, licensing, Intellectual Property and Data Protection issues.
• Acting for emerging and scaling technology and digital content providers.
• Advising clients across multiple sectors on UK GDPR and privacy compliance issues, including data sharing, processing and compliance arrangements, DPIAs, Data Sharing Agreements and international transfers.
• Carrying out Data Protection, Intellectual Property and Technology due diligence in respect of M&A transactions for cutting edge progressive technology businesses and for clients in the regulated industries of transport, energy and technology.
• Advising an online food delivery platform with urgent strategy and response to affected Data Subjects following a large-scale ransomware associated cyber-attack and data breach.
• Advising financial services clients and other large corporations such as FirstGroup and John Lewis on commercial contracts, intellectual property issues and data protection advice.
