Amanda is a senior associate in the firm’s Commercial and Technology team, having joined the firm in 2019. She regularly advises both private and public sector clients on a broad range of commercial contracts, including supply chain contracts (e.g. manufacturing, distribution, supply of goods and services), consumer-facing terms and conditions and licensing arrangements.
She also specialises in data protection and consumer regulatory issues with sector expertise in retail, food and drink, transport, healthcare and hospitality.
Experience
- John Lewis Plc/Waitrose: Acting for the retailer on a range of commercial contracts including the renewal of John Lewis & Partners’ concession agreement with The Floor Room and Waitrose’s partnership agreement with Welcome Break.
- Yeo Valley: Advising on a range of commercial arrangements including long-term supply and manufacturing agreements.
- FTSE 250 train operator: Advising on a national advertising campaign and compliance with the CAP Code.
- A leading NHS Foundation Trust: Advising on the application of data privacy under UK GDPR to its standard contracts for supply of medical and non-medical services including on a major procurement of pharmacy services.
- Bristol City Council: Advising the council on the data protection aspects of its ‘City Leap’ programme to help make Bristol a carbon-neutral city by 2050.
- Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport: Advising on the data protection aspects of the world-leading Events Research Programme designed to understand Covid-transmission risk at large events, including the Euros, Wimbledon and Silverstone.
