About
Holly is a senior associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team, specialising in intellectual property disputes.
She works with her colleagues to help clients arrive at the right solution to their issue, minimising impact and maximising success. She is supported by our extensive dispute resolution practice with a proven track record in the highest-profile cases and cross-border, multi-sector expertise.
Holly advises clients on IP litigation matters such as trade marks, copyright, database rights, passing off, design rights, company names, and online issues such as domain name disputes. She also has substantial core litigation experience and advises on a broad range of complex commercial disputes, with extensive experience the High Court and the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court.
She coordinates, and is a regular contributor to the firm’s quarterly intellectual property bulletin, Concept.

- Victoria’s Secret: Advising on trade mark, passing off and counterfeit goods issues, including trade mark infringement proceedings in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court.
- Starbucks: Trade mark clearance searches (use and registration) and UK infringement issues, including counterfeits.
- BBC: Advising in relation to a passing off claim brought by a high-profile US production company and film studio.
- US-based swimwear: Defending registered design infringement in the Intellectual Property Enterprise Court, including successful ADR.
- Government body: Advising in a very high value (£100,000,000+) portfolio of pre-action complex claims concerning the supply of goods from international suppliers.
- Multibillion dollar US technology company: Acting in High Court proceedings in relation to copyright and database infringement claims, including successful ADR.
