Alice qualified into the Dispute Resolution team in September 2023.

She has worked across a diverse range of disputes including commercial contractual, corporate, insurance and technology disputes. She has also advised clients on alternative dispute resolution methods, including expert determination, mediation and negotiation.

Alice has previously been seconded to the in-house legal team of a major renewable energy client, where she supported on various commercial and regulatory matters. More recently, she has represented a core participant in the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry.

  • Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry: Represented a core participant in the Post Office Horizon IT Inquiry, chaired by Sir Wyn Williams.
  • Public sector client: Advised a public sector client on its regulatory compliance, identifying potential judicial review challenges and mitigating associated risks.
  • Defence and security company: Acted for a defence and security company in a licensing and alleged IP infringement dispute.
  • Digital technology company: Represented a digital technology company in a dispute over payments for IT services.
  • P2P (peer-to-peer) financing platform: Advised a P2P financing platform following a significant fraud of approximately £1 million, working with insurers to mitigate the impact and advising on regulatory obligations.
  • Professional indemnity claims: Acted on various professional indemnity claims (defendant) against financial advisors, lawyers, accountants, and architects, representing both insurers and insurers.

  • Successfully completed the AI University Foundations course run by the Oxford LawTech Education Programme (OLTEP) – a joint initiative by the University of Oxford Law Faculty and the Oxford Department of Computer Science.
