Alice trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Real Estate Dispute Resolution team in September 2021. She advises a range of public and private sector clients in relation to real property issues and landlord and tenant matters.

She has experience in core contentious real estate matters for commercial landlords and occupiers such as lease renewals, dilapidations and forfeiture. She also advises a range of clients on technical real property issues, with particular expertise in boundary disputes, adverse possession claims and mines and minerals disputes.

Alice has acted in complex High Court litigation and assisted in achieving positive settlement terms for her clients through alternative dispute resolution.

She is a member of the Property Litigation Association.

  • Renewable energy developers: Alice has advised multiple developers in relation to the risk profile of mines and minerals reservations and provided strategic risk management support to achieve a commercial solution to these issues.
  • The Crown Estate: Alice has advised on various matters including adverse possession claims, residential possession proceedings and land subject to escheat.
