Alice trained at Burges Salmon and qualified into the Projects team in September 2023. She has experience advising a range of public and private sector organisations in the procurement, nuclear, energy, transport and healthcare sectors. Her experience includes providing regulatory, contractual and strategic advice to clients. Alice regularly advises public sector bodies on complex regulated procurements.

Experience

  • UKAEA: Advising on the STEP programme, a £20 billion project to construct a prototype fusion power plant. She was Involved in developing the procurement documents, supporting the government approvals process and advising on procurement risks.
  • British Museum: Supporting the development of procurement documentation (SSQ and ITT) and the client’s procurement strategy. Reviewing, amending and working closely with the client team to finalise procurement documentation.
  • Nuclear Decommissioning Authority: Providing advice to the NDA and its subsidiaries on a range of contractual, strategic and procurement matters.
  • UK Research & Innovation: Advising on Innovate UK grant agreements. Reviewing Grant Offer Letters and Grant Funding Agreements and advising on enforcement action.
  • FCDO: Drafting of contract documents for the Foreign Office’s call-off (Europe region) under their flagship dynamic purchasing system for facilities management across their global estate.
  • Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance: Drafting of contract documentation for Gavi’s US$100 million partnership with the International Rescue Committee and World Vision to immunise children across marginalised communities.
