About
Jamie is an associate in the firm’s Scottish Real Estate team. He advises a variety of developers, funders and investors on renewable energy, clean technology and built environment projects.
In the renewable energy and clean technology sector, Jamie has experience advising on the development, debt funding and equity investment of a variety of technology types, including offshore and onshore wind, solar and battery energy storage. He has also advised on the development of linear utility projects.
In the built environment sector, Jamie has experience in the acquisition, disposal, leasing and development of commercial property. In particular, he has experience of advising clients on the incorporation of renewable energy projects into built environment.
Experience
- Zestec Renewable Energy: Advising on the acquisition and development of Scotland’s largest airport-based solar project at Glasgow Airport.
- European Developer: Advising the development of two 100MW-plus solar projects in the south of Scotland.
