Overview

Louise is a senior associate in the firm’s dispute resolution team. Louise joined the firm in May 2024 and has extensive experience acting for Central Government departments, in particular the Ministry of Defence, in relation to procurement law, commercial contractual disputes and public law matters. Louise has led large teams and has a proven track record of success in high-profile/ high-value cases and in complex arbitration.

Her main focus is advising the defence sector, and she has in-depth knowledge of MOD defence contracts, in particular the DEFCONs, the Single Source Contracts Regulations and the Defence and Security Public Contract Regulations.

In procurement, Louise advises both private and public sector clients on contentious public procurement issues as well as responding to urgent procurement challenges, often brought on technical issues in short timeframes.

Louise is experienced in all stages of litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution.

Louise is a member of our procurement and defence groups and is a member of the Procurement Lawyers Association.

Experience

Experience includes High Court, Adjudication and Arbitration proceedings, as well as advising clients on alternative forms of dispute resolution, including expert determinations and mediation.
