About

Nick is Head of the firm’s Corporate department, and the Corporate and M&A team. He has extensive experience in domestic and cross-border M&A, public takeovers, corporate reorganisations and joint ventures.

He also leads our corporate advisory practice, and provides general corporate and strategic advice to a wide range of clients.

Experience

  • svt Holding GmbH: Advising on the acquisition of Technical Fire Safety Group.
  • International defence and security company: Advising on a complex hive-down project.
  • UK listed companies: Advising on Private M&A transactions.
  • The Co-operative Group Ltd: Advising on an intra-group reorganisation and £249 million disposal to the Wellcome Trust.
  • UK government department: Advising on the transfer of assets (valued at £3.5 billion) from the UK’s seven Research Councils, Innovate UK and the research and knowledge exchange functions of HEFCE to United Kingdom Research and Innovation (UKRI).
  • CMA: Advising on the corporate law aspects of the sales of Gatwick (£1.5 billion), Edinburgh (£807 million) and Stansted (£1.5 billion) Airports.
