About

Nikita is a senior associate within our Banking and Finance team specialising in Corporate Restructuring and Insolvency. She is Australian qualified and regularly acts for financiers, banks, insolvency practitioners, creditors and debtors.

She has experience working on a wide range of matters including restructurings, distressed debt transactions, formal insolvency appointments, enforcement and commercial disputes across various industries including real estate, financial services, energy, property, construction and agriculture.

Nikita is a member of R3’s South West & Wales Women’s committee. She has been recognised by Best Lawyers as ‘One to Watch’ in Australia in 2022 and 2023 for Insolvency and Reorganisation Law.

Experience

  • EXEDY Clutch Europe Ltd: Acting on the acquisition of the assets of Saietta Group Plc, a global engineering business, out of administration.
  • Amphenol Limited: Acting on the acquisition of the business and assets of Trackwise Designs plc from its administrators.
  • Begbies Traynor: Advised Breathe EV Limited and subsequently its administrators, on the sale of its assets and business, which provided electric vehicles to private-hire drivers.
  • Major clearing bank: Advised in relation to their exposure and enforcement on various secured loans.
  • Investment fund: Advised in relation to its investment portfolio, including in relation to a potential restructuring, enforcement and redemptions.
  • Boards of directors: Advising in relation to insolvency and restructuring issues, including directors’ duties and funding.
