Pav is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Tax team. He advises on a wide variety of corporate and commercial tax matters, specialising in corporate mergers and acquisitions and real estate transactions. He also advises clients on stamp taxes and VAT issues.
He advises clients in a range of sectors, including transport, renewables and hospitality. He also has experience advising on transactions involving sales and acquisitions of insolvent businesses.
Experience
- Bristol City Council: Advising on transaction documents and the capital allowances position of the Council in connection with a joint venture with Ameresco, which will allow for over £1 billion of investment into Bristol’s energy system.
- BGF: Advising one of the largest and most experienced investors in the UK and Ireland on £8 million investment in Off-Piste Wines.
- Gooch & Housego: Advising a global optical components player on an acquisition of a a precision optics supplier as part of the expansion into the UK and European Aerospace & Defence markets.
- First Group: Advising the leading transport operator, FirstGroup plc, on the acquisition of Anderson Travel, a coach operator based in central London and Heathrow as the Group looks to strengthen its First Bus division.
- FRP Advisory and the ACL Companies: Advising on the administration sale of the Coventry Building Society Arena to entities controlled by Frasers Group Plc.
- Sports consultancy: Advising a leading sports consultancy company on the VAT treatment of cross-border supply of services as part of an expansion into the European and US markets.
