Rachael is a partner in our Banking and Finance team. She advises funders, private equity investors, family offices and borrowers on corporate and leveraged finance as well as asset backed lending on both domestic and multi-jurisdictional matters.

She is recognised as a Leading Partner in Legal 500 and Band 1 in Chambers UK.

Experience

  • HSBC UK Bank plc: Advising on the financing to fund the management buy-out of Viper Innovations Limited, a subsea energy and rail technology company.
  • NIBC Bank: Advising on an acquisition facility and subsequent refinancings for a pan-European operator and developer of data centres owned by the US conglomerate ServerFarm.
  • Blackrock (Kreos Capital): Advising on venture funding for numerous businesses in the technology/fintech sectors operating in various jurisdictions.
  • BGF: Advising on the debt funding and interface with its ABL facilities for Troy UK, a leading independent maintenance, repair and overhaul product distributor servicing the industrial and engineering sectors.
  • FirstGroup: Advising on the multi-bank financing arrangements for the acquisition by FirstGroup of up to 1,000 electric buses as part of its joint venture partnership with Hitachi.
  • Gooch & Housego: Advising AIM listed Gooch & Housego with operations in the UK and the US on its revolving credit facility provided by NatWest Bank.
