Rishi joined the Firm in 2020 and is a senior associate in the Corporate Tax team. He advises corporate, private and institutional clients on a broad range of transactional and advisory matters, including in relation to mergers and acquisitions, renewable energy transactions, joint venture arrangements, private equity transactions, corporate re-organisations, financing arrangements, VAT and employment taxes.
Experience
- First Group plc: Advising First Bus, the second largest regional bus operator in the UK, on its acquisition of Anderson Travel and Lakeside Coaches as First Bus expands its operational footprint in key UK locations.
- Octopus Renewables: Advising funds managed by Octopus Renewables on the acquisition of two operational UK biomass power plants with a combined capacity of 85.7MW in the east of England.
- Lightfoot Innovations: Advising the shareholders of Lightfoot Innovations, the UK’s leading provider of driver behaviour solutions for light commercial vehicle fleets, on its investment from Volpi Capital.
- ENGIE: Advising ENGIE on its £64.8 million acquisition of Ixora Energy Ltd, a leading biomethane producer based in the UK.
- svt Holding GmbH: Advising svt Holding GmbH, one of the leading manufacturers of state-of-the-art fire protection products in Europe, as UK counsel on its acquisition of UK-based Technical Fire Safety Group Limited.
- Omlet: Advising the founding shareholders of Omlet, a fast-growing pet accessories brand, on the investment by Piper, a leading UK private equity firm specialising in investing in fast-growing consumer brands.
