  • Acting for trustees and beneficiaries in relation to a rectification application to remedy a flawed trust structure that gave rise to significant tax liability.
  • Resolving a contractual dispute involving an importer and a wholesaler of PPE equipment.
  • Successfully settled a case representing investment specialists in professional negligence proceedings following tax advice received from their previous advisers.
  • Advising trustees of a pension scheme on professional negligence claims following a drafting error in the scheme’s amendment power.
  • Advising trustees as to the merits of potential negligence claims against the pension scheme’s advisers and fund managers following the recent LDI crisis.
  • Representing partners in a partnership dispute relating to a large farming business in the South West.
