Sophie Potter Associate

Sophie is an associate within the firm's Corporate Finance team. She completed her training contract with Burges Salmon, qualifying in September 2019.

Sophie has a range of experience working with companies on a variety of corporate matters including equity investments, mergers and acquisitions and group restructuring. She works with a range of individuals, public and private companies and institutions on UK and cross-border transactions.

• Advised Octopus Investments in relation to the acquisition of Swish Fibre Limited, together with a long-term £250 million funding deal set to transform full-fibre broadband access in the UK.
• Acted for retail asset manager Premier Asset Management Group PLC on its merger with Miton Group plc, to create a new group with some £11.5 billion of assets under management.
• Advising various renewable energy companies on disposals and acquisitions of renewable energy SPVs.
