About
Stephanie is a senior associate in the firm’s Banking and Finance team. Her wide range of experience includes advising both lenders and borrowers in relation to real estate finance, acquisition finance and general corporate lending.
Within the real estate finance sector, Stephanie has experience advising on the financing of both development and investment grade commercial property. She has acted for a range of clients including banks, funds and corporates on finance transactions within the built environment, hotels sectors and corporate banking.
She also regularly leads multi-jurisdictional teams on transactions with international elements.
Stephanie spent eight months on secondment to Abrdn in 2021 and 2022 as a member of both the Real Assets Debt team and the Private Credit team respectively, where she provided transactional support and advice on a wide variety of matters.
Experience
- Lender: Advising a lender on its first development finance loan in Scotland to facilitate the provision of carbon efficient homes.
- Abrdn: Advising Abrdn on a funding package to a fund managed by Clearbell Capital to support an initial £34 million acquisition of industrial assets.
- Santander: Advising Santander on a deal to support the management buyout of Scottish pensions firm @SIPP.
- Lenders and sponsors: Advising various lenders and sponsors in relation to development and investment facilities for properties located across the UK.
- Financing arrangements: Advising various corporations in relation to their financing arrangements.
