Victoria is a Banking and Finance partner in our Renewable Energy and Net Zero team. She is a distinguished clean energy finance lawyer with a wealth of experience in advising on a diverse array of renewable technologies. Her expertise spans across wind, hydrogen, biomass, clean heat, solar, geothermal, electric vehicles (EVs), carbon capture, and waste-to-energy projects.
She advises clients from across the full spectrum of the energy and infrastructure sector, including sponsors, borrowers, and lenders. Her clients include many of the leading banks and financial institutions in the market, reflecting the high level of trust and confidence the industry places in her capabilities.
Victoria is particularly adept at guiding clients through the intricacies of pioneering, first-of-a-kind projects. Her ability to navigate uncharted territories in the renewable energy landscape has been instrumental in the successful execution of groundbreaking initiatives.
In addition to her core specialism, she has considerable experience in acquisition finance, asset finance, general corporate finance and insurance finance.

- Eden Project: Advising the sponsors on the UK’s first operational deep geothermal project to come online in 37 years supplying heat to the Eden Project.
- DESNZ: Advising on an area-wide low-carbon district heat network in South Westminster, one of the most ambitious energy network opportunities in the UK, using heat from the River Thames to supply more than 1,000 buildings.
- Atlantic Green: Advising on all aspects of the development and project financing of one of the largest BESS projects in the UK to date.
- Smart Metering: Advising a co-operative of all GB energy suppliers operating under government regulations in relation to the funding of smart metering solutions in respect of c.5% of the UK’s housing stock.
- Gravis Infrastructure Investments: Advising on the investment into SolarCatcher, a pioneering UK based developer of solar-powered electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
- Bluefield Solar: Advising across various acquisition, portfolio and RCF financings across its solar, storage and wind assets.
