Ellen Goodland Associate

Ellen is an associate in the Employment team and joined the firm in 2020.

Ellen specialises in employment law and has broad experience advising both employers and employees on contentious and non-contentious employment issues. She conducts employment tribunal litigation including unfair dismissal and discrimination claims, and supports with corporate transactions. She has a particular interest in advising on data protection compliance in a HR context.

Ellen is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and an Employment Lawyers Association Junior Committee Member.

• Acted for a major national retailer in multiple employment tribunal claims.
• Providing regular HR advice, including in relation to disciplinary matters and dismissals and drafting documentation for negotiated exits for a FTSE-100 defence and security group.
• Providing employment support in connection with corporate transactions.
• Responding to large and complex data subject access requests.
