Georgia Bew Solicitor

Georgia is a Solicitor in the Banking & Finance team at Burges Salmon LLP.

Having qualified in September 2021, Georgia has already gained invaluable experience acting for a variety of lenders and borrowers across corporate banking, real estate finance and project finance transactions, including acquisitions and investments, real estate construction and development and debt restructuring.

• Acting for a fast-growing renewable energy business in connection with its latest strategic partnership, which will support multiple solar energy generation and battery storage projects within the UK.
• Acting for a renewable energy investment company (as lender) on the provision of £4m funding for the construction and operation of England’s largest 100% community-owned onshore wind turbine.
• Acting for an international sustainable finance investment company (as borrower) in relation to its £30m senior secured term loan facilities made available to fund its portfolio of anaerobic digestion facilities across the UK.
• Acting for a nursery group (as borrower) in relation to the restructure of its existing debt to secure further private equity funding which will support its ambition for expansion across the South-West of England.
