Kayla is a Solicitor in the firm’s Construction and Engineering team. She advises an array of clients within the built environment and energy and utilities sectors in respect of large construction and engineering projects. She has particular experience advising on building and fire safety issues and disputes for a range of public and private stakeholders.
She is currently undertaking a client secondment to support the wider delivery of a major transport infrastructure project in the UK.
In addition, she has expertise in NEC, JCT and bespoke form contracts and regularly advises on their negotiation and amendment and provides troubleshooting advice to assist in dispute avoidance within potential contractual disputes on those forms.
Kayla is also a member of Forum for the Built Environment’s “Future for Tomorrow” group and The Law Society’s “Legal Voices for Tomorrow” forum for legal professionals to discuss and deliberate climate change and solutions.
