Matt specialises in UK real estate investment and portfolio management work including acquisitions and disposals and landlord and tenant work. Matt has a strong track record in acting for clients in the office market, the retail sector and the hotel, leisure and tourism sectors and has particular expertise in the West End and luxury and premium brand markets.

Matt is an active member of the Investment Property Forum and Leisure Property Forum.

• Advising The Crown Estate on over £1 billion of investment acquisitions and disposals including:
• the acquisition of Princes House in St James's London for £87 million
• the disposal of a portfolio of three industrial estates for £32 million
• the acquisition of three headlease interests at Haymarket, London for £53 million.
• Acting for John Lewis Partnership and Waitrose on their UK property portfolios.
• Advising The Crown Estate on its St James's Portfolio including high profile lettings to luxury and premium brand retailers, restaurateurs and office occupiers.
• Advising Waterstones on its UK property portfolio.
• Acting for Deutsche Bank on its UK properties.
