Overview

Muhammad is a Lawyer in the construction and engineering team at Burges Salmon.

He advises stakeholders including sponsors/investors, developers and contractors on a variety of projects with particular interest in renewable energy development and storage infrastructure.

Muhammad specializes in standard form contracts (such as FIDIC) and project specific documents such as bonds and parent company guarantees.

Experience

Before joining Burges Salmon, Muhammad previously worked as part of an energy and projects team, advising on a wide variety of energy and infrastructure projects across Africa.

Amongst others, he has experience:

  • Advising a developer on all aspects of the construction and engineering of an integrated energy infrastructure network.
  • Advising the project sponsors on the development of an integrated fertilizer production plant and ancillary facilities.
  • Advising a developer on the development of a floating liquefied natural gas facility.
  • Advising a developer on the development of a hybrid independent power plant and distribution network.
  • Advising a project company on all aspects of the development of a multi-million pound floating production, storage and offloading vessel.
