Nicole Valentinova Senior Associate

Nicole is a senior associate in our Real Estate team. She has experience across a wide range of real estate work, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, energy projects, telecommunications agreements, wayleave agreements, and commercial landlord and tenant transactions.

Nicole is focused on expanding her expertise in the area of development, financing and acquisition/ disposal of renewable energy projects.

• Preparing reports on title and certificates of title involving review of complex titles and carrying out due diligence on the acquisition and disposal of energy projects.
• Supporting a leading company with the management of their substantial property portfolio across three airports in the UK.
• Acting for major clients on renewable energy projects including advising clients in respect of a wide range of project documentation comprising option agreements, leases, deeds of easement, and other documents.
• Advising a bidder on the Round 4 offshore wind, including analysis of the offshore Agreement for Lease and Lease, and the Agreement for Transmission Lease and the Transmission Lease.
• Acting for multiple landowners on the proposed development of a large wind farm in Wales.
• Advising a seller on the proposed disposal of its stake in two wind farms with a combined capacity of 24.5MW.
• Advising a buyer on the proposed acquisition of two gas peaking plants and ancillary land rights required for the development of each site.
• Advising buyers/ sellers on multiple solar projects including the grant of option agreements and the acquisition/ disposal of the projects.
• Negotiating and completing a significant number of telecommunications leases and licenses for a major UK operator.
• Dealing with the acquisition of a portfolio of residential properties in London for a large charity.
