Olivia Pointon Associate

Olivia is an associate in the firm’s Dispute Resolution team, having joined Burges Salmon upon qualification in September 2021.

Olivia has experience working with both public and private sector entities on a variety of legal disputes, including complex High Court litigation, regulatory disputes and property litigation. She also has experience representing clients in settlement negotiations, and assisting those participating in alternative forms of dispute resolution.

• Advising on a variety of different matters from commercial contractual disputes to procurement challenges.

• Assisting on the defence of a multi-million pound consumer protection claim in the Chancery Division for a national social care provider.

• Assisting on the successful attainment of a possession order and defence of a subsequently issued counterclaim for a national housing provider.
