Richard Watkins Associate

Richard is an associate in the firm’s transactional real estate team, having joined Burges Salmon in March 2024.

Richard has a wide range of experience in working with both landowners and tenants on a variety of transactional real estate matters, including sales and purchases, leasing and asset management, developments and insurance and finance due diligence.

• Leading in the purchase of a £30m mixed use development in the center of Bath for an institutional UK investor;
• Leading in the real estate element of a corporate purchase of a £22m logistics asset for an industrial asset investor;
• Advising on a rights of light release for a property owner in central London;
• Dealing with asset management matters on behalf of both institutional landlords and tenants across England and Wales.
