Ross advises on a variety of transactional matters with a particular focus on renewable energy, infrastructure and defence work. His clients include a wide range of stakeholders including funders/investors, developers and contractors across a range of projects including complicated, bespoke and/or international structures.
Ross has gained experience in-house on secondment with UPS, based in their European headquarters in Brussels. During this time, Ross was responsible for all legal matters arising within UK, Ireland & the Nordics.
Prior to joining Burges Salmon, Ross was a lawyer at an international law firm specialising in marine, energy and international trade matters, where he had a specific interest in offshore renewable projects.
Ross is involved in various internal boards and committees including several Key Account Programmes (covering both private sector energy clients and public sector clients), the Hydrogen working group, the BeEngaged Committee (Burges Salmon’s CSR committee) and the Built Environment Sector group.
