Twm Russen Senior Associate

Twm is a senior associate in the Dispute Resolution Team at Burges Salmon, with a focus on commercial litigation.

In particular, he advises in relation to:

• Contractual disputes, including supply chain disputes and disputes arising out of corporate transactions.
• Professional negligence claims.
• Company and shareholder disputes.
• Civil fraud and asset tracing claims, including applications for freezing orders.
• Other forms of urgent relief, including applications to protect confidential information and to enforce restrictive covenants.

• Acting for liquidators in relation to a multi-million pound claim arising out of a VAT fraud.
• Advising a major telecommunications network in connection with substantial claims under the Commercial Agency Regulations.
• Acting for a minority shareholder in connection with an unfair prejudice claim against the majority shareholders.
• Advising in relation to a professional negligence claim against financial advisers arising out of the use of disguised remuneration tax schemes.
• Acting for a fashion supplier in relation to breach of restrictive covenant and breach of confidence claims against its former directors/shareholders.
• A secondment to the in-house legal team of a major food and drink business.
