Victoria MacAulay Associate

Victoria is an associate in the firm's corporate finance team. Victoria joined the firm in 2021 and specialises on a variety of corporate matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, restructurings, commercial contracts and shareholders’ agreements.  She has advised clients in a broad range of sectors including energy, life sciences, hotels and sports.

• Acting for Cumulus Oncology on subsequent investment of in aggregate £9m from SNIB and EOS.
• Acting for Pandox AB in its acquisition of the Hilton Belfast Hotel. The hotel has 202 rooms and is operated under a management agreement with Axiom Hospitality, subject to a franchise under the Hilton brand.
• Advised Drax on the acquisition of BMM Energy Solutions, a UK electric vehicle (EV) charge point installer. The deal sees BMM Energy Solutions become a wholly owned subsidiary of Drax Energy Solutions with the acquisition strengthening Drax’s end-to-end charging proposition to UK businesses and reaffirming its commitment to supporting them achieve their Net Zero ambitions.
• Advising US investment house Trivela Group on the acquisition of a majority stake in Walsall Football Club Limited.
• Advising the UK's largest integrated forestry business, BSW Timber, on the partial acquisition of PowerSheds.
• Advised Cytomos Limited, an Edinburgh-based life science company, on £1.6m funding to progress its novel cell analysis platform, Cytomos Dielectric Spectroscopy (CDS).
