As a member of the firm's projects team, Cheryl regularly advises on a wide range of commercial transactions, notably in the energy and public sector. She advises a diverse range of clients from private sector supply chain contractors and international clients, to public sector bodies and regulators.
Cheryl is also a regulatory lawyer specialising in nuclear and environmental regulation on industrial sites. She has over 10 years’ experience in advising on nuclear decommissioning and the transport of nuclear materials, with particular expertise in nuclear liability and indemnities.
Cheryl has undertaken a number of long-term secondments with the in-house legal teams of key clients in the nuclear, defence and rail sectors. She is contributing author to the Burges Salmon Guide to Nuclear Law (2011 and 2015 editions) and to Delivering Energy Law and Policy in the EU and the US – A Reader (edited by R.J.Heffron & G.F.M. Little (2016)).
