Hannah is a senior associate in the firm's pensions team and advises clients in relation to both public and private sector pension arrangements.
Hannah trained with CMS in London and qualified as a solicitor in 2009, before joining Burges Salmon in 2010.
In 2019 Hannah went to work as a Government Lawyer for the Welsh Government, advising on the McCloud case. She worked closely with HM Treasury in relation to the Public Service Pensions and Judicial Offices Act 2022 and drafted the prospective remedy regulations for the firefighters’ schemes in Wales.
Hannah returned to Burges Salmon in 2022 where she advises a wide variety of clients on all aspects of pensions law. She provides clear, straightforward advice to trustees and employers on day to day matters, including in relation to benefit changes, GMP equalisation and buy-ins/outs.
Hannah is a full member of the Association of Pension Lawyers.
