Overview

Hayley qualified as a solicitor in September 2019. Having trained at Burges Salmon, Hayley re-joined as an Employment Solicitor in August 2024. Her experience includes advising employers and employees on a range of contentious and non-contentious matters, with particular experience in conducting employment tribunal litigation relating to complex discrimination and whistleblowing claims.

Hayley also advises clients on business immigration queries, including applications for and maintenance of Skilled Worker Sponsor Licences, the Expansion Worker visa, right to work queries and Business Visitor visas.

She is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association and the Immigration Law Practitioners Association.

Experience
  • Providing regular HR and business immigration advice to a major pensions provider, including support with employment tribunal litigation.
  • Supporting a multinational metals manufacturing client with HR and business immigration issues.
  • Acting for a large pest control company in employment tribunal litigation relating to unfair dismissal and discrimination.
  • Acting for a national recruitment consultancy in respect of a complex whistleblowing claim.
  • Providing advice on employment matters to a variety of different businesses including in respect of senior exits, redundancies, TUPE issues, and the management of disciplinary/grievance procedures.
  • Providing tailored training to sponsor licence holders on compliance with sponsor licence duties.
