Katherine M King Senior Associate

Katherine is a dual qualified senior associate in the firm's real estate team.

Katherine works on a range of commercial real estate transactions, including freehold and leasehold acquisitions and disposals, infrastructure projects, financings and property management matters. She has completed investment and management work for landlord and tenant clients in the office, retail, transport and hotel sectors and has acted for lenders and funds in relation to financing of multiple UK properties.

Katherine is qualified in England & Wales and Northern Ireland. She is also a member of the Bristol Law Society Council.

• Advising Ahli United Bank’s UK student accommodation fund on the disposal of its entire portfolio to Unite for £271 million.
• Advising lenders and funds including HSBC UK and Lloyds in relation to high value acquisition financing, development financing and portfolio refinancing transactions across a wide range of UK real estate assets.
• Advising a sovereign wealth fund on the asset management of 37 hotels.
• Advising West Midlands Trains and Abellio Greater Anglia on the real estate aspects of their respective franchise mobilisations.
• Advising Transport for Wales and Welsh Government on the mobilisation of the Wales and Borders rail franchise.
• Advising Abellio, West Midlands and Merseyrail on asset management matters including station improvement projects and taking into use of new stations.
• Advising London Underground/Transport for London on real estate elements of the Metropolitan Line Extension project.
