Magnus is a partner in the firm’s Edinburgh-based Dispute Resolution team.

Magnus is experienced in advising on a wide range of real estate disputes and commercial litigation matters across both the public and private sector. His expertise also extends to insolvency, professional negligence, regulatory matters and judicial review.

Magnus has significant experience in both the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts, as well as acting for clients in arbitrations.

Magnus is recognised as a leader in his field by Legal 500 where he is ranked as a 'Next Generation Partner'.

• Representing two of the Defenders in multiple actions brought by Highlands and Island Enterprise following the breakdown of the funicular railway at the Cairngorm Mountains.
• Acting for an international hotel chain in defending proceedings brought by their landlord at one of their Glasgow hotels.
• Handling significant claims by group of tenant farmers against Scottish Government in relation to legislative changes that resulted in deprivation of occupancy rights.
• Advising UK wide fast casual pizza restaurant on their CVA in relation to their Scottish portfolio.
