Marie-Elizabeth is an associate within the Dispute Resolution department. Her practice straddles regulatory enforcement, corporate crime, and public inquiries.
Marie-Elizabeth specialises in crisis management, internal investigations, corporate and director liability, regulatory investigations and criminal prosecutions, coroner’s inquests, and public inquiries. Her practice covers regulatory crime (including health and safety) and financial crime such as bribery and corruption, serious fraud, and money laundering.
She has front line experience of advising clients on large scale safety incidents and corporate crime investigations and prosecutions, including those by the Health and Safety Executive, the Environment Agency and the Police. Her expertise also extends to Coroner’s inquests where she has advised various companies on their role as interested persons.
As part of her public inquiry experience, Marie-Elizabeth plays a central role as part of the Solicitor to the Inquiry team on the UK Covid-19 Inquiry chaired by Baroness Heather Hallet.
